In this example, both periods deliver 900 good units. Allocated electricity falls from 500 to 450 kWh, so electricity per good unit falls from about 0.556 to 0.500 kWh—a 10% reduction. Real-world results still need checks on quality, data and the effect of the change.
Keep a history people can check
Keep the meter source, timestamps, work orders, batch IDs, quality counts, shared-energy allocations and change records. Correct duplicate or late data with a visible history; don't silently overwrite the old figures.
AI can help find clues, but the responsibility still lies with humans
AI can suggest possible causes when the data supports them. People still need to approve a trial and check its results. AI features in these stories illustrate planned ideas; they are not all deployed in real workplaces.
Pause here. What would you choose?
The two factories say each unit uses 0.4 and 0.5 kWh respectively. Which one is definitely better?
